Neoboard Example #2 - "they ruined lilo and stitch"
< Back to On Board 55 and the True Meaning of Inclusion >
Below is a topic created in Board 55 on May 23rd, 2025, in response to the latest live-action remake released by Disney. A remake broadly panned by all who posted in it (including myself) thus proving that it is entirely possible to have respectful discussions on the Neoboards (well, respectful to other Neopians at least) despite differences in personal beliefs, even if some of their reasons for hating the film are very different than mine. I absolutely agree that the anti-family message that it apparently holds (thankfully I still have not had the misfortune to have actually watched it) is a terrible move by Disney, though unsurprisingly yet disappointingly some people here apparently found the lack of Pleakley disguised as a human woman (which they seem to feel obligated to view as "trans representation" somehow) as more offensive than the heinous pro-abandonment message and lack of everything that actually made the original movie great (ohana, Ugly Duckling subplot, etc)
Oh look a bit of casual racism at 5:24 PM (racism is racism no matter which direction it goes in)
